Based throughout Central London, East Sussex, Kent and the Cotswolds, they offer premium food, drink and a choice of boutique bedrooms.

We're looking for a Roaming Sous Chef who is always on the move Our Roaming Management Team moves throughout our collection of pubs and inns, holding the kitchens and covering holiday, sickness and absence.

This is an Operational Support Role. The Roaming Team assists our fixed Kitchen Teams in the day-to-day operation of the pub's kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Building rotas, managing GP, reporting, managing stock, building menus, and leading & developing the team in service.

Once a kitchen is held and secure, it's onto the next one. A hands-on approach is essential with this role. This role will involve staying away from home during your working week.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sous Chef who has:

Requirements
  • Held a senior chef position in a premium pub or restaurant.
  • Excellent communication skills, ensuring seamless interactions with guests and team members.
  • A passion for using fresh and seasonal produce.
  • The ability to motivate their team, leading by example.
  • Strong organizational skills, with a focus on kitchen efficiency.
  • Expertise in kitchen numbers and financial management.
  • Knowledge of HACCP, COSHH and Food Safety protocols.
Additional Requirements
  • Previous experience at management level in a premium hospitality business.
  • Exceptional food and drink knowledge.
  • A good understanding of financial targets and how to achieve them.
  • A driving license and vehicle is essential for this role.
  • Ability to stay away from home during the working week (accommodation provided).
