Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Governance and Quality Manager to join our team at Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of the clinical governance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of management experience working in a prison setting and a strong understanding of clinical governance or other quality improvement approaches. You will also possess excellent project management skills and the ability to provide formal presentations to senior management teams and other large professional groups.

Key responsibilities will include leading specific quality improvement programmes, contributing to key areas of governance, and supporting the delivery of external regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will work collaboratively with other stakeholders to promote shared ideas of governance, quality, and benchmarking.

Salary: £43,877 - £53,618 per annum (inclusive of London weighting)

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years management experience working in a prison setting
  • Experience of co-ordination and planning of complex information improvement projects
  • A breadth of project experience and capability
  • Understanding of clinical governance or other quality improvement approaches
  • Understanding of the various areas of clinical governance and quality, such as clinical risk, use of information, clinical audit, service user involvement, clinical effectiveness, clinical risk management, and human resources
