Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Manager to join our Logistics operation at site level. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in creating and driving a successful people strategy to aid the operation.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the people and site teams to ensure that the site has a high-performing, motivated, and trained team of colleagues.
- Define and deliver a site people plan that is relevant to the local needs while aligning with the Morrisons framework.
- Create a culture of respect where managers engage with, listen to, and respond to their team members.
- Coach and support the management team and your people team to improve performance and grow talent across the whole site.
- Ensure that all employment relations, industrial relations, and payroll processes and procedures are legal and in line with company standards.
- Own all temporary and permanent labor supplies into your site, working with relevant parties to fill vacancies while ensuring a great candidate/colleague experience.
- Own and drive talent on your site, ensuring development plans and succession plans are in place for all colleagues.
- Ensure that the site has the right people in the right place at the right time, and that training remains at the top of the leadership teams' agenda.
- Identify and deliver savings and work with the operational teams to ensure that site labor budgets and labor efficiencies are delivered.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
- 5+ years' experience in Human Resources.
- Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies.
- Demonstrated expertise in training managers and employees.
- Strong organizational, critical thinking, and communications skills.
- Attention to detail and good judgment.
