Industrial Sales Expert

As a seasoned Field Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and growing an established portfolio of loyal customers in Central Scotland. About the Job
This role involves building strong relationships with customers, identifying new opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions to client challenges. You will work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure a fresh perspective is brought to the table.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow an established portfolio of loyal customers.
- Bring fresh insights and ideas to improve sales processes and customer engagement strategies.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to deliver tailored solutions to client challenges.
- Identify and capitalize on new opportunities within the existing customer base to drive growth.
- Represent the company with professionalism and technical expertise at customer meetings and site visits.
About You
This is not a role for someone stepping into sales for the first time. You will already have:
- Proven experience in technical sales, preferably within heavy engineering, shipbuilding, materials handling, or manufacturing sectors.
- A strong technical understanding of engineering and fabrication processes, enabling you to add value to customer conversations.
- The confidence to contribute ideas and challenge processes constructively to improve outcomes for the business and its customers.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to connect with customers and internal teams alike.
