Field Sales Engineer
Location: Central Scotland

About the Role
This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned Field Sales Engineer who thrives on building strong, meaningful relationships with customers and contributing to a company's growth and success. Joining a well-established and respected engineering firm, you will have the autonomy and support to shape how sales processes and customer engagement are handled, ensuring a fresh perspective is brought to the table.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and grow an established portfolio of loyal customers, strengthening long-term relationships. Bring fresh insights and ideas to improve sales processes and customer engagement strategies. Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to deliver tailored solutions to client challenges. Identify and capitalise on new opportunities within the existing customer base to drive growth. Represent the company with professionalism and technical expertise at customer meetings and site visits. About You:
This is not a role for someone stepping into sales for the first time. You will already have:

Proven experience in technical sales, preferably within heavy engineering, shipbuilding, materials handling, or manufacturing sectors. A strong technical understanding of engineering and fabrication processes, enabling you to add value to customer conversations. The confidence to contribute ideas and challenge processes constructively to improve outcomes for the business and its customers.
