Job DescriptionThis is an exciting opportunity to join a leading and growing organisation as part of a friendly, professional and supportive team. You will be delivering an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students with support from the leadership team.
ResponsibilitiesAs an SEN Teaching Assistant within our school, your key responsibilities will include:
- Mentoring and supporting learners by providing them with curriculum-based learning in the classroom, on home tuition and outreach and through outdoor activities
- Assisting with the preparation of learning material and contributing to the delivery of learning objectives with a strong focus on behavioural management
- Preparing daily reports on learners' progress and barriers to learning
- Interacting with parents/care givers on a regular basis
To succeed in this role, you will need to have:
- A committed and passionate view of students with SEND
- Experience working as a Teaching Assistant
- Maths and English GCSE at grade C or above
You will receive a competitive salary of £93.76 - £122.24 per day, as well as access to in house professional support and fully funded training to achieve valuable externally accredited qualifications.
