Complex Care Assistant Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Complex Care Assistant to join our team at Enviva Complex Care. As a Complex Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients, helping them to live their lives to the fullest.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Providing personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Assisting clients with their medication and medical needs, including administering medication and providing wound care.
- Supporting clients with their physical and emotional needs, including providing emotional support and helping them to engage in activities that promote their well-being.
- Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure that clients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Documenting client information and progress, including updating care plans and recording observations and incidents.

Requirements
- Experience of working in a care environment, preferably with a focus on complex care.
- Ability to provide emotional support and care to clients with complex needs.
- Knowledge of relevant care policies and procedures, including medication management and wound care.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure that clients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to document client information and progress, including updating care plans and recording observations and incidents.
