Cardiac Staff Nurse

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Cardiac Staff Nurse to join our team at Bupa. As a Cardiac Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate high standards of nursing care for patients.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
- Supervise and direct more junior staff, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Act as a clinical role model, promoting high standards of care and adherence to hospital policies.
- Coordinate and monitor patient care, reporting any variances to the team.
- Ensure the safe administration of medications and maintain accurate records.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with consultants, ensuring individual protocols are followed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring adequate supplies and equipment.
Requirements:
- Registered General Nurse with a valid NMC PIN.
- Experience in a Cardiac Unit, ICU, or Medical Ward within an acute hospital.
- Knowledge of cardiac patients, including cardiac ablation, aortic stenosis, CABG, and heart failure.
- Competent in ECGs, IV administration of drugs, CPAP, AIRVO, and PICC lines.
- Essential skills in phlebotomy and cannulation.
- Pleasant and cheerful manner, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
