Cardiac Staff Nurse

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Cardiac Staff Nurse to join our team at Bupa. As a Bank Cardiac Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our 33-bed medical ward, which caters to both Neuro and Cardiac patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate high standards of nursing care for patients.
- Work collaboratively with a team, supervising and directing more junior staff, and deputizing for the Senior Staff Nurse as required.
- Act as a clinical role model, driving high standards of care at all times.
- Follow hospital policies and procedures with due care and attention.
- Coordinate and monitor patient care, reporting any variances appropriately.
- Ensure the correct storage and administration of medications, adhering to hospital policies and NMC Standards.
- Practice multidisciplinary team care, contributing actively to its successful management.
- Maintain positive working relationships with Consultants, ensuring individual protocols are utilized.
- Ensure adequate supplies and equipment are available.
Requirements:
- Registered General Nurse with NMC PIN.
- Nursing experience in a Cardiac Unit, ICU, or Medical Ward within an acute hospital.
- Experience working with cardiac patients, including cardiac ablation, aortic stenosis, CABG, and heart failure.
- Competence in ECGs, IV administration of drugs, CPAP, AIRVO, and PICC lines.
- Essential skills in Phlebotomy and Cannulation.
- Pleasant and cheerful manner, being supportive and approachable.
