At Digitaltidewave, we are seeking a skilled Patient Care Specialist to join our team. As an Ambulance Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care while ensuring the safe transfer of patients.

This is a unique opportunity to work with our state-of-the-art ambulances and drive Prometheus vehicles as required. You will assist qualified nurses in safely conveying and transferring all patients under their care.

You will be responsible for providing adequate handover of patient details, including risk history and current presentation, from the Clinical Logistics Manager or nurse responsible for the patient. In some cases, you may need to complete paperwork required for transfers when an RMN is not present.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide crisis intervention to patients experiencing mental health difficulties during transfers
  • Respond to emergencies during your span of duty
  • Report accidents, complaints, and untoward incidents promptly to the Clinical Logistics Manager

We estimate the salary for this role to be around £25,000-£30,000 per year, depending on experience.
