Senior Cancer Information Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cancer Information Analyst to join our team at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Cancer Information & Systems team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the trust has access to high-quality data analysis and information to inform and reform healthcare provision.
Key Responsibilities- Work with internal and external customers to provide accurate, timely, and valid data and reports to meet statutory, national, and local requirements.
- Develop and maintain effective data processing and reporting solutions, including complex statistical reports and predictive modeling.
- Lead specific project streams and deliver multiple projects to tight timescales, becoming an expert in key projects within the Cancer Information and Systems team.
- Work with local and national NHS datasets and models, including Cancer Outcome and Services Dataset, and Cancer Waiting Times.
- Contribute to the impact assessment of Information Standards Notices (ISNs) and implement agreed solutions.
- Extensive knowledge of SQL and experience working with ETL processes and business process automation.
- Knowledge of Microsoft reporting solutions, including SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Power BI.
- Data analytical, evaluation, and system development skills.
- Relevant qualifications, such as a degree in an informatics-related discipline, mathematics, or statistics, and GCSE or equivalent in English Language and mathematics.
- Experience in designing, developing, and implementing data/software solutions, interfaces, and integration components, as well as managing informatics projects.
