IT Asset Management - Software Licensing Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Software Asset Management Specialist to join our IT Asset Management team at Addleshaw Goddard. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing software assets and handling Azure invoicing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage software assets and ensure compliance with licensing, legal, and contractual requirements.
  • Establish key relationships with stakeholders and conduct audits to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies for Software Asset Management, including defining processes and deploying new practices.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Asset Management team to refine processes and engage in Azure-related project discussions.
  • Proactively identify improvement areas and implement changes to optimize software asset management.

Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of Azure Billing, license models, and IT Asset Management tools like Service-Now and Nexthink.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
  • Experience in software licensing and audits, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Understanding of the ITIL framework and ability to apply its principles.
