Job Title: Children Registered Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Children Registered Manager to lead and manage our client's Ofsted-registered services in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care for young people aged 8-18 with emotional and behavioral difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring full compliance with Ofsted regulations.
- Foster a safe and supportive environment for young people.
- Lead a team, including Deputies, Team Leaders, and Support Workers, ensuring they are motivated and delivering high-quality care.
- Manage budgets, monitor KPIs, and ensure systems like ClearCare are used effectively.
- Liaise with external agencies, safeguarding young people while maintaining professional relationships.
- Implement quality assurance practices to continuously improve service standards.
Requirements:
- Level 3 in Residential Childcare, or Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Children & Young People's Services, or equivalent.
- Proven ability to pass the Ofsted 'fit' test, demonstrating suitability for the role.
- Extensive leadership experience in children's homes or supported accommodation services, including successful strategic planning and initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and standards, with experience applying them in practice.
- Comprehensive understanding of safeguarding processes and the ability to effectively implement them.
- Track record of achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted ratings in previous roles, with a focus on excellence in care.
