About the Role: As a Community Engagement Coordinator with Ludlow Street Healthcare, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with complex needs to engage in their local community. This may involve assisting them in participating in their chosen activities or following their interests, coordinating scheduled activities, and ensuring facilitated activities and appointments are attended.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local community groups and organizations to identify opportunities for individuals we support to engage in their community.
  • Work with other professionals to develop personalized care plans that promote community engagement and inclusion.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to individuals with mental health conditions, learning disabilities, or challenging behaviours.


Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You should also have a strong understanding of mental health issues and be able to provide support and guidance to individuals with complex needs. A valid UK driving license and knowledge of British Sign Language are also essential.
