Conservation Ecology Professional

**Job Summary:** We're seeking a conservation ecology professional to join our team. As an experienced ecologist, you'll be responsible for managing projects, undertaking surveys, and producing reports.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects, contribute to project management, survey planning, data analysis, and report writing. You'll also be involved in the design and implementation of ecological mitigation schemes.
The successful candidate will have a degree-level qualification in a relevant field, CIEEM membership or equivalent, and experience in practice. One or more protected species licenses are desirable.
Key Responsibilities:Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing own projects, including proposals and client liaison.
- Planning, coordinating, and undertaking habitat and protected species surveys.
- Producing ecology reports, desk studies, and plans.
- Designing and implementing simple ecological mitigation schemes.
- Contributing to project management, survey planning, data analysis, and report writing.
You'll receive a competitive salary, estimated at £45,000 - £60,000 per year, depending on location and experience. Other benefits include payment of CIEEM membership fees, ongoing support via a bespoke training programme, flexible working options, and access to our Employee Assistance Programme.
