About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Conservation Specialist to join our team at AECOM. The successful candidate will have a recognized degree in marine biology/ecology or related discipline and comprehensive marine ecological expertise and experience in specialist technical chapters and impact assessments. They will also have an understanding of marine consenting and licensing regimes across the UK and the ability to work closely with clients and provide bespoke advice.

The role will involve providing technical marine ecological and marine consenting advice, internally and externally, and managing inputs to work streams and deliverables across a range of projects. The successful candidate will also be responsible for delivering marine ecology impact assessments, including ES chapters and associated assessments (HRA, MCZ and WFD), ensuring quality standards and compliance with our quality management procedures, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to improve project outcomes.
