About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Learning and Development Business Partner to join our award-winning People Development team at Burges Salmon. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our learning and development strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a market-leading learning curriculum for all populations, working closely with colleagues to ensure a strategic and consistent approach.
  • Lead the development and delivery of Associate and Senior Associate curricula, including inductions, and oversee the whole life cycle of the learning process.
  • Organize and maintain the firm's flagship Associate and Senior Associate Development Centres.
  • Liaise with Professional Support Lawyers to ensure legal training and updates are delivered effectively.
  • Manage the annual firmwide legal update programme.
  • Support the curation of resources for and firm engagement with our Learning Management System.
Requirements
  • A successful learning and development track record at the operational level, preferably within law firm/professional services firms.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders to explore learning requirements and ensure effective implementation.
  • Ability to drive action through others, keeping busy people on track with objectives.
  • Understanding of the value of using data to inform decisions and demonstrate return on investment.
