About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Network Support Specialist to join our team in Rugby. This exciting opportunity will see you working as part of a dynamic support team, providing high-level customer service and technical expertise.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. To deliver exceptional customer service and resolve technical queries efficiently.
  2. To provide expert advice on infrastructure issues and design suitable solutions.
  3. To own and resolve complex incidents, changes, and problems, taking a proactive approach when dealing with user issues.
  4. To troubleshoot and resolve intricate 3rd line issues escalated by 2nd line engineers.
  5. Assist in resolving tickets across all lines proactively.
  6. To build and configure servers efficiently.
  7. Develop and maintain timely support documentation, procedures, and quick guides for the wider support teams.
About You

We require an individual with solid technical support experience, preferably within an MSP. A good understanding of networking technologies and principles is essential.

  • You should have strong knowledge of Microsoft Hyper-V, Failover Clustering, and Microsoft Storage Spaces Direct.
  • Excellent proficiency in:
  • Microsoft Server 2012 / 2016 / 2019.
  • Active Directory / DFS / DHCP / DNS / RDS / VPN / WDS / WSUS / SCCM.
  • Exchange On-Premise.
  • Office 365.
A strong grasp of WAN & LAN networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DHCP, WINS, DNS.Familiarity with Microsoft Windows 7 & 10, Office 2013 Onwards.Laptop / Desktop rollout, rebuilds, imaging, support.An excellent telephone manner and communication skills.Experience with IT best practices, particularly in relation to IT security and ITIL V3.

What We Offer:
