Lead Care Team Member

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Lead Care Team Member at Ardenlee Care Home.
About the Role:
- This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of care professionals, ensuring the highest standards of care for our residents.
- You will be responsible for coordinating shifts, motivating your team, and maintaining a supportive environment.
What You'll Do:
Main Responsibilities- Lead by Example: Demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, setting high standards for yourself and your team.
- Team Coordination: Ensure seamless shift coordination, allocating tasks effectively and promoting teamwork.
- Resident Support: Provide tailored support to our residents, prioritizing their dignity, independence, and comfort.
- Medication Management: Oversee medication ordering, administration, and documentation, maintaining accurate records.
- Effective Communication: Foster open communication with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and colleagues.
- Health and Safety: Adhere to Health and Safety policies, identifying potential risks and escalating concerns.
Requirements:
- SQV/NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
- Practical Medication Administration with competencies
- Proven leadership skills, with experience in leading teams
- A kind, caring, and compassionate nature, with a focus on person-centred care
