Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team at The Dolls House. As a key member of our kitchen brigade, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation, menu development, and kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the kitchen environment, ensuring a safe and efficient working space for all staff.
  • Develop and implement menus that showcase our commitment to using the freshest, seasonal ingredients.
  • Oversee food production, stock control, and inventory management.
  • Collaborate with our events team to create bespoke menus for special occasions.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of kitchen operations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or equivalent role in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a deep understanding of menu development and kitchen operations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on attention to detail and quality control.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work closely with our events team and other stakeholders.
