**Job Title:** Social Worker - Children's Services
**Location:** Kent
Connect2Kent is a recruitment agency that specializes in social work positions. We are currently recruiting for a Social Worker to join the Children's Social Work Team covering Dartford and Swale.
Kent County Council is an excellent employer with an Ofsted rating of 'Outstanding'. As a Social Worker, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of complex and diverse cases involving assessments, reviews, and court attendance.
- Manage a caseload of Children & Families cases, including assessments, reviews, and welfare reports, to effectively meet client needs in line with the Social Care Capability Framework.
- Develop partnerships with statutory agencies, voluntary organizations, and private sector agencies to facilitate good outcomes for children and their families.
- Maintain knowledge of relevant legislation, local policies, and procedures, particularly those relating to Looked After Children, Children in Need, and Child Protection.
- Pursue ongoing training and development opportunities as agreed with your line manager to ensure compliance with Social Work England requirements.
The estimated salary for this position is £35,000-£40,000 per year, depending on experience.
