About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Counselling Services to lead our counselling team at Each Counselling and Support. As a key member of our senior management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our counselling strategy, ensuring high-quality services are delivered to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive counselling strategy that aligns with our organisational goals and objectives.
- Lead and manage a team of counsellors, providing guidance, support, and supervision to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and effective communication.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our counselling services, making recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Counselling or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior counselling role, preferably in a charity or non-profit organisation.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful counselling strategies.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
