About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Turning Point, a leading provider of substance use services in Lincolnshire. As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will play a critical role in leading the psychology provision across Lincolnshire, ensuring that evidence-based interventions are embedded throughout our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the psychology provision across Lincolnshire, ensuring that evidence-based interventions are embedded throughout our services.
  • Offer clinical guidance, training, and leadership across the partnership, using your expertise to build on a range of innovative approaches with people who use substances.
  • Provide specialist psychological assessments and therapies to service users with complex needs, including a small caseload.
  • Lead psychology input to local governance meeting structures, including clinical governance meetings, mortality and morbidity review processes, and multi-disciplinary complex case meetings.
  • Work collaboratively with partner agencies across Lincolnshire to improve referral pathways and joint delivery for service users experiencing both substance use and mental health issues.
  • Represent Turning Point on strategic partnership meetings across Lincolnshire.
  • Contribute to the strategic direction and development of the service, building strong professional links with other statutory and voluntary service providers.
  • Explore ways to continuously improve our services and integrate wider issues, such as housing, employment, and finances, into the overall treatment process.
Requirements
  • Up-to-date registration with the Health and Social Professions Council (HCPC) as a Clinical, Counselling, or Forensic Psychologist.
  • Doctorate in a professional specialism, with proven ability to deliver psychological services.
  • Experience of leading and supervising clinical staff, ideally with experience of working with substance use service users.
  • Excellent communication skills, adaptability, and commitment to the Recovery Agenda.
  • Previous experience of supervising others in psychological roles, with formal training in supervision skills.
