Lead Psychologist - Chronic Pain Management

We are looking for a committed Lead Psychologist to become part of our established interdisciplinary team focused on chronic pain management. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in remote work and a solid background in handling a caseload within a physical health context.

In this role, you will perform specialized psychological evaluations, create comprehensive treatment strategies, and facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions as an integral part of our community-oriented chronic pain initiative. Collaborating with healthcare professionals, including nurses, physicians, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists, will be a vital component of your responsibilities.

The successful applicant should possess outstanding communication abilities, enabling them to manage complex situations with professionalism and empathy. Establishing and nurturing relationships with both local and national clinical partners is crucial, as is offering guidance to other healthcare practitioners regarding the psychological dimensions of pain management.

To qualify, candidates must hold a doctoral degree in a relevant field of psychology, be registered with the Health & Care Professions Council, and have accreditation from the British Psychological Society.
