Job Description

A leading Managed Services Provider is seeking a skilled 2nd Line IT Support Technician to join their team in a stunning rural office location. As part of a team of dedicated technicians, you will provide 2nd Line Support to over users covering cutting-edge hardware, software, and infrastructure technologies.

The Role:

The 2nd Line IT Support Technician will provide support to a diverse group of onsite and off-site users. You will troubleshoot desktop, telephony, network, and printing errors, investigate software issues, and carry out daily checks. You will also ensure that the computers you are responsible for are compliant with Cyber Essential Plus while following ISO 27001 policies. You will support and install hardware, software, and mobile devices, and have the opportunity to administer servers and gain insight into infrastructure-based technology.

About You:

The successful 2nd Line IT Support Technician will need to be self-motivated, conscientious, methodical, and organized, with the ability to liaise with clients at all levels of a business while demonstrating excellent customer service at all times.

  • Minimum 1-year experience in a similar role
  • Fantastic user management soft skills
