Job Title: Mental Health Support Specialist


We are currently seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Mental Health Support Specialist to join our team at a SEMH school in Kidlington. The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced therapists and psychologists to provide tailored support to children aged 5-16 with complex needs.


Responsibilities:



  • Provide one-to-one and group support to children with SEMH needs
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and therapists to develop and implement individualised support plans
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:


To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a genuine passion for supporting children with SEMH needs, and a willingness to learn and develop your skills and knowledge. Experience in a similar role would be advantageous but is not essential. We welcome applications from graduates and individuals looking to pursue a career in therapy or psychology.
