Job Summary:

SuperCare Residential is seeking a highly skilled Children's Behavioural Therapist to join our team. As a Behavioural Therapist, you will work with children with learning disabilities and autism, providing comprehensive behavioural assessments and developing individualised intervention plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive behavioural assessments and develop individualised intervention plans.
  • Implement behaviour strategies to support with behavioural needs.
  • Monitor and analyse behavioural data to assess the effectiveness of interventions and adjust plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, occupational therapists, and speech and language therapists, to ensure a holistic approach to each child's care.
  • Provide training and support to staff, promoting consistent and effective behaviour management strategies.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of assessments, interventions, and progress reports.

Requirements:
  • A degree in Psychology, Behavioural Science, or a related field.
  • Certification in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) or as a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience working with children with learning disabilities and autism in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of behaviour analysis principles and evidence-based intervention strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to improving the lives of children with learning disabilities and autism.
