DT Technician Job Description
**Job Summary**
We are seeking a skilled DT Technician to join our team at a secondary school in Brent. As a DT Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Design and Technology department in delivering high-quality lessons and projects.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Prepare materials and equipment for lessons and projects, including preparation of demonstration materials and resources
* Ensure all students' work and unused materials are returned to the appropriate storage area
* Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, including cleaning cloths and aprons
* Assist departmental staff in developing resources for teaching and learning, including preparation for exams
* Demonstrate methods and techniques to students during lessons, as requested by departmental staff
* Support exhibitions and the curating of work for GCSE and A Level
* Provide technical assistance to pupils during lessons and private study sessions
* Be responsible for DT departmental displays and the preparation, mounting, and installation of work around the school
* Support GCSE and A Level students with their coursework outside lesson times

* Full-time/part-time: Full-time
* Hours: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
