About the Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Sixth Form Independent Study Supervisor to join our team at Tradewind Recruitment.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a school environment, working closely with our team to support the DT and Art department.

Our ideal candidate will have a genuine passion and believe in the potential of every pupil, and will be committed and reliable with excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist practical lessons (KS3 and KS4), which enhance students' experience of DT
• Provide guidance to teaching colleagues
• Support all departments within the Art, Design and Technology faculty
• Promote health and safety within the department

The Ideal Candidate:

• Hold a relevant qualification (e.g. Engineering, DT or Art) or have experience working with hand tools and wood work
• Have a genuine passion and believe in the potential of every pupil
• Be committed and reliable with excellent communication skills
• Experience previously working with children would be beneficial but is not essential
