About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Planning Lead to join our team at the Financial Conduct Authority. As a key member of our Strategy department, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing our organization's strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our organization's strategic objectives and priorities
  • Provide strategic coordination and oversight across the development of our next multi-year strategy
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders to ensure alignment between our organizational strategic intent and delivery activities
  • Provide advice and support to colleagues on strategic planning and implementation
  • Contribute to the development of high-quality strategic outcomes that shape the running of our organization
Requirements
  • Proven experience in corporate strategy development and strategic planning in a regulator, public organization, or in financial services
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to explain complex issues succinctly and with clarity
  • Ability to identify and analyze key issues facing consumers and markets, as well as the factors influencing them
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to make logical and timely decisions, cutting through complexity and seeing the big picture
