About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behaviour Support Specialist to join our team at a Secondary Community School in Hounslow, Middlesex. As a key member of our school community, you will play a vital role in supporting students with challenging behaviour and ensuring they receive the care and guidance they need to succeed.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and coordinate high-quality support services for students with behavioural challenges
  • Develop and implement individualised behaviour plans to meet the unique needs of each student
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to students on social and emotional skills
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to develop strategies for supporting students with challenging behaviour
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of behaviour management policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • A relevant degree or equivalent qualification
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage competing priorities
  • Strong knowledge of child development and behaviour management principles

Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience
