About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Psychiatrist to join our team in Swansea Bay University Health Board. As a Consultant Adult Psychiatrist with Community, you will play a key role in developing services and working towards a 24-hour single point of admission service.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide care for men and women with mental disorders, focusing on equipping people with appropriate skills for community living.
  • To work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop crisis care services, aligned with Welsh Government initiatives.

This is an excellent opportunity to make your mark and drive positive change in the field of psychiatry. You will have the support of a management team who are strongly focused on working with clinical colleagues.

Requirements
  • To be medically qualified, MRC Psych or equivalent, with experience in General Adult Psychiatry.
  • To possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • To demonstrate leadership ability and flexibility, with a commitment to continuous improvement.

We offer a competitive annual salary of £93,317 (pro-rata), the equivalent of 34 days' annual leave, career development opportunities, relocation support up to £10,000, and more.
