Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Leader to join our Commercial team as the Head of New Business. This critical role will be responsible for driving revenue growth and profitability through the development of a robust sales strategy, partnership building, and pipeline management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development Strategy
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.
    • Identify key sectors and merchants to target, and develop a robust and consistent sales methodology.
  • Partnership Development
    • Identify, qualify, and build relationships with key strategic partners to drive business growth and expand our offerings.
  • Pipeline Management
    • Manage and expand our new business pipeline, enhancing the qualification process and identifying margin opportunities.
  • Brand Awareness
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase B2B brand awareness and establish Zopa as a thought leader in the fintech industry.
  • Commercial Leadership
    • Work closely with the commercial team to establish and agree a clear go-to-market product feature strategy.

About You

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Development Leader who has a proven track record of driving business growth and developing high-performing teams. You will have:

Extensive experience in a regulated environment, with a deep understanding of the fintech industry.Proven ability to inspire and develop a team of business development managers at varying levels.Demonstrable operational and strategic leadership skills, with a history of driving significant growth and expansion.
