Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Technical Officer Electrification, you will be responsible for providing technical support to the Maintenance Engineering team. This includes carrying out work safely and in accordance with safe systems of work procedures, method statements, plans, and other instructions.

You will also be responsible for managing and checking the quality of work delivered and confirming assets are compliant to standards. Additionally, you will manage the preparation of work and resource specifications, method statements, and plans.

Other key responsibilities include providing technical support and guidance, designing, installing, testing, and commissioning equipment, undertaking and supervising technical tasks, surveying, and designing work.

You will also be responsible for undertaking technical inspections, tests, investigations, and analysis of technical data, prioritizing work arising, and agreeing work plans for the group.

Furthermore, you will prepare specifications and requisition for materials, manage processes and systems for the calibration and certification of tools and equipment, and manage information to update systems, databases, and records.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have knowledge of technical support activities and techniques, as well as knowledge and experience of electrification and plant maintenance and construction management processes, systems, and standards.

You will also need to have knowledge of design requirements, processes, and techniques, and be able to demonstrate, promote, and embed safe working behaviors within the team.

Additionally, you will need to be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, coach, influence, and develop others, and hold and retain the competencies relevant to this post and required by business need.
