Senior Technical Officer Electrification Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Technical Officer Electrification, you will be responsible for providing technical support to the Maintenance Engineering team. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out work safely and in accordance with the safe systems of work procedures, method statements, plans and other instructions.
- Adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Managing and checking the quality of work delivered and confirming assets are compliant to standards.
- Managing the preparation of work and resource specifications, method statements and plans.
- Providing technical support and guidance.
- Designing, installing, testing and commissioning equipment.
- Undertaking and supervising technical tasks, survey and design work.
- Undertaking technical inspections, tests, investigations and analysis of technical data.
- Prioritising work arising and agreeing work plans for the group.
- Preparing specifications and requisitioning for materials.
- Managing processes and systems for the calibration and certification of tools and equipment.
- Managing information to update systems, databases and records.
- Contributing to your own development and that of others.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Knowledge of technical support activities and techniques.
- Knowledge and experience of electrification and plant maintenance and construction management process, systems and standards.
- Knowledge of design requirements, processes and techniques.
- Able to demonstrate, promote and embed safe working behaviours within the team.
- Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Able to coach, influence and develop others.
- Hold and retain the competencies relevant to this post and required by business need.
- Ideally hold or be working towards and NVQ level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) in an engineering/leadership subject.
- Able and willing to drive vehicles as required by business need.
