About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Team Leader to join our team at Hill Lane Children's Home in Southampton. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for supervising a team of staff, updating care plans, and reporting information to ensure the best possible care for our young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support a team of staff to deliver high-quality care and support to our young people
  • Update and maintain accurate care plans and records
  • Communicate effectively with our young people, staff, and other stakeholders
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of our young people at all times
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans and policies

Requirements
  • A Level 3 qualification in Children's Residential and Childcare
  • Previous experience in a residential childcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and manage conflicting priorities
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
