Occupational Therapist for Acute Medicine Leadership Role

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to lead our Acute Medical team at Stoke Mandeville Hospital. The successful candidate will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients.
Main Responsibilities
- Assess and treat patients with acute medical conditions, providing recommendations for discharge or further rehabilitation.
- Supervise and develop a team of Occupational Therapists, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to the development of clinical projects, audits, and research initiatives, ensuring evidence-based practice.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to manage long-term disabilities and their consequences.
- Participate in continuing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices and clinical guidelines.
