About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Risk Manager to join our team at AIG. As a key member of our risk management team, you will play a critical role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across our global operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to ensure consistency with our Group's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework.
  • Contribute to the development of our response to regulatory initiatives and market developments.
  • Monitor regulatory and market developments to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with risk owners to promote a culture of risk awareness and best practice across our organization.
  • Assist in the maintenance of our Risk Register and other risk management documentation.
  • Implement our Risk Policy, including risk appetite for each risk category.
  • Document and maintain our risk appetites, tolerances, and acknowledgements.
  • Conduct risk assessments for prescribed risks, including deep dives.
  • Aggregate and report risk information from various sources.
  • Monitor and record changes in our risk profile, including the effectiveness of our control environment.
  • Record, monitor, and investigate risk events/incidents and risk management actions.
  • Assist in the completion of our Own Risk and Solvency Report as required.
  • Utilize our RSA Archer GRC System to manage our risk management process.
  • Design and run reports in accordance with business needs from RSA Archer.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues on risk management matters.
  • Support the development and use of our Internal Model in collaboration with our Capital Modelling team.

Requirements

  • Significant experience as a Senior Risk Analyst or Risk Manager within the insurance industry.
  • London market experience is preferred.
  • Risk Management and CII qualification are preferred but not essential.
  • Highly motivated and a self-starter.
  • Strong listening and communication skills.
  • Good negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, as well as databases.
