Respiratory Nurse Specialist Lead

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Nurse Specialist to join our expanding National Respiratory team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients with Asthma and COPD in line with local and national guidelines.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Respiratory Nurse Specialist, supporting healthcare professionals and patients in primary care settings. You will conduct patient reviews, support treatment pathway decisions, and work closely with the NHS to deliver excellent patient care and improve outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct COPD/Asthma patient reviews via telephone, video-consultation, or in general practice.
- Support healthcare professionals and patients to make informed decisions about treatment pathways.
- Work in partnership with the NHS in primary care, delivering a unique nursing programme focused on best practice, patient care, and outcome improvement.
Requirements:
- NMC Registered First Level Nursing qualification
- A recognised qualification or diploma in Asthma/COPD
- Full UK Driving Licence
- ARTP qualified
- Hold the ENB 998 teaching and assessing course or equivalent
Salary Information:
The salary for this role is competitive and negotiable depending on experience. A standard working day would be 8.30, but this may vary dependent on travel to the practice location. Additionally, you can expect a range of benefits, including a bonus, car/car allowance, NMC/RCN fees, and additional package benefits.
