We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Health Specialist to join our team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. As a specialist in respiratory health, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality physiotherapy and nursing care to adult patients with respiratory conditions.

The successful candidate will have a degree in physiotherapy or nursing, as well as significant post-registration experience in the specialty area. You will be able to demonstrate highly developed specialist knowledge of respiratory health and be able to apply this knowledge to provide exceptional patient care.

In this role, you will work closely with consultants, AHPs, and nurses to facilitate and manage the provision of physiotherapy and nursing care. You will also provide support and advice to doctors, nursing staff, and allied health care specialists, ensuring smooth transitions of care into and within the community setting.

As a Respiratory Health Specialist at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, you will have the opportunity to rotate through different specialisms and settings within the community and acute respiratory team. You will also be part of a multidisciplinary team providing a range of services, including diagnostic clinics, COPD and asthma disease optimisation, exacerbation management, hospital discharge, home oxygen, pulmonary rehabilitation, dyspnoea management, and primary care education and support.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality physiotherapy and nursing care to adult patients with respiratory conditions
  • Work closely with consultants, AHPs, and nurses to facilitate and manage the provision of physiotherapy and nursing care
  • Provide support and advice to doctors, nursing staff, and allied health care specialists
  • Ensure smooth transitions of care into and within the community setting

**Requirements:

  • Degree in physiotherapy or nursing
  • Significant post-registration experience in the specialty area
  • Ability to demonstrate highly developed specialist knowledge of respiratory health
  • Good IT skills
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
