Job Opportunity: Tax Analyst

FinTech Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Tax Analyst to join our client's team in Aberdeen on a permanent, full-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to gain experience and specialize in tax, working with a reputable local practice.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the preparation and management of corporate tax returns and associated compliance processes for a portfolio of clients.
  • Support with audits when required, advising on tax provisions and disclosures for statutory accounts.
  • Regular communication with clients to gather required information and handle queries.
  • Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients and respond to queries.
  • Assist the Corporation Tax team on advisory projects with research and analysis when required.

Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience in a finance role, with a keen interest in specializing in tax.
  • Any experience or general understanding of tax, either personal or corporate, would be beneficial but not essential.
  • Process-oriented, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Eager to learn, with a commitment and proactive approach to professional development.

Candidates should be based locally to Aberdeen and must hold the Right to Work in the UK.
