Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Tax Compliance Specialist to join our team at Expro Group. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with all relevant tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and timely filing of corporate income tax returns and other relevant filings, by analysing and summarising transactional data from SAP.
  • Support the Regional Tax Manager in gathering necessary documentation and information to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and organised records of all tax-related documents and transactions.
  • Conduct basic research on tax issues and summarise findings for the Regional Tax Manager.
  • Assist in the preparation of documentation required for tax audits and inquiries.
Requirements
  • Degree qualified in an Accounting or Finance discipline.
  • Experience with SAP or a similar Finance package.
  • Some experience in a tax or finance role, preferably through internships or entry-level positions.
  • Basic understanding of UK tax laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (data analysis using pivot tables).
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Excellent analytical and research/problem-solving abilities.
