Corporate Tax Associate Director

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Associate Director to join our team in Scotland. As a key member of our national tax service line, you will support a diverse range of clients, from owner-managed businesses to large multinational groups.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their tax affairs are managed efficiently and effectively.
  2. Compliance Management: Oversee the compliance cycle for clients, ensuring statutory requirements are met and tasks are managed efficiently.
  3. Tax Planning and Advisory: Identify tax planning opportunities and handle specialized technical assignments, including due diligence, transactions, demergers, restructuring, and innovation relief.
  4. Assignment Management: Oversee assignments, confirming client arrangements, including costs and billing, and ensuring work meets recovery targets.
  5. Specialist Services Knowledge: Develop in-depth knowledge of our specialist services and undertake special projects as needed.
  6. Staff Management: Act as a line manager, actively participating in staff development, including on-the-job training and appraisals.

Requirements:

  • Proven UK Corporate Tax compliance experience.
  • Tax advisory exposure would be beneficial.
  • Experience running and managing corporate tax teams.
