The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development of practice learning opportunities for social work students, maintaining currency with national policy and practice initiatives, and identifying learning needs and recommending appropriate solutions.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality practice education. As a Practice Education Development Lead, you will work closely with operational service managers to promote and support the development of practice education, identify learning needs, and develop solutions across social care.

Your Experience and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have a recognised social work qualification, significant experience of social work, and evidence of continuing professional development aligned to relevant Professional Competency/Capability frameworks or Knowledge and Skills Statements. You will also have experience of mentoring both Social Work students and newly qualified and experienced Social Work staff, being a subject matter expert in professional social work.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £45,217-£54,395 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits, including a pension scheme, annual leave, and opportunities for professional development.
