Role Overview

Protocol Education is seeking dedicated and passionate Nursery Room Leads to support early childhood development and foster a positive learning environment in our nursery in Chelmsford.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a competitive rate for the location and industry.

Job Description

As a Nursery Room Lead, you will be responsible for guiding children aged 3 months to 5 years through educational and developmental activities. You will plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences that cater to each child's unique needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Caring for children and providing personal, social, emotional, and behavioral guidance
  • Building strong relationships with parents and colleagues to support each child's development
  • Promoting inclusivity and ensuring every child feels valued and supported

Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with a Level 3 (or higher) qualification in childcare. A calm and resilient approach to supporting children with varying needs is essential. Passion for promoting equality and inclusivity is also crucial for this role.
