We are seeking an experienced Social Work Lead to join our team as an Amhp Senior Practitioner. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and support to individuals in emergency situations.

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work with vulnerable adults and children. You will be part of a dedicated team that works outside of normal working hours, including nights, weekends, and bank holidays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing Social Work Support: As a Social Work Lead, you will provide direct support to individuals in emergency situations, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Collaborating with Teams: You will work closely with other teams, including Managers and Practitioners, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Maintaining Records: You will maintain accurate records of your interactions, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Social Work Degree or Equivalent: You must hold a Social Work degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP): You must be qualified as an AMHP under the 1983 Mental Health Act.
  • Driving Licence and Car: You must hold a valid driving licence and have access to a car.

  • Competitive Salary: £45,217 - £54,395 per annum.
  • Additional Allowance: An additional 15% flat rate allowance based on the basic salary.
