Job Title: Charge Nurse - Neonatal Unit

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Charge Nurse to join our Neonatal Unit at Basildon Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our patients and their families.

About the Role:

As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for:

  • Directing and supervising the provision of nursing care to meet the needs of level 1, level 2, and level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Patients.
  • Participating in the management of the Neonatal Unit in the absence of a Senior Charge Nurse, demonstrating sound organisational skills.
  • Assisting with budgetary control at ward level.
  • Providing an environment that is conducive to the education of all staff.
  • Supporting senior and junior staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
