Job Title: Sales Ledger Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Ledger Assistant to join our Finance Department on a 6-month Fixed Term Contract. As a key member of our International Revenue and Accounting team, you will be responsible for accurate invoicing and revenue accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Raise sales invoices and maintain customer accounts
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders relating to customer accounts
  • Administer DD/SEPA processes and cash allocation
  • Operate the shared mailbox and address queries in a timely manner
  • Administer and collect due/overdue accounts receivable
  • Perform month-end tasks, including ledger reconciliation and reporting
  • Other duties as requested by the company

Requirements:

  • Previous sales ledger experience is essential, ideally with exposure to Foreign Currency transactions in an International Business
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
  • Ability to deal with complex debt issues and prioritize accordingly
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrable experience of positive prioritization and the ability to juggle a busy workload and meet tight deadlines
  • Experience of Microsoft Dynamics GP and banking systems is desirable
  • Foreign language skills, such as French, German, or Spanish, are desirable
