We are seeking an experienced Business Development leader to drive revenue and increase our reach to customers in vehicles through strategic partnerships with top automotive manufacturers.

As a Principal Business Development Manager, you will influence and build relationships with senior leadership, engineering, commercial, and procurement teams at automotive manufacturers to execute complex deals and drive business growth. You will leverage your deep knowledge of the automotive industry and a solution-oriented mindset to identify and develop opportunities for Amazon Smart Vehicles in the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Negotiate and close business with automotive manufacturers for ASV's product and services.
  2. Interact with legal, commercial, project management, and technical teams inside Amazon.
  3. Brief Amazon executive teams on progress in adopting Alexa and related services.
  4. Build relationships and interface with all levels of automotive manufacturers, dealing with senior executives, commercial managers, and technical managers.
  5. Develop business cases for opportunities and review them with commercial management and senior leaders in ASV.
  6. Work together with product teams to create solutions that are the right fit for automotive manufacturers and end customers alike.
Requirements
  1. Professional experience in the automotive industry, closing strategic and complex deals.
  2. Professional experience in Business Development, Corporate Development, Product Management / Product Marketing, Partner Management, or Engineering Leadership.
  3. Experience with business models, contractual setups, and distributing software/services.
  4. Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements.
  5. Extraordinary business writing skills.
  6. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
