**Job Description:**

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in risk management to join our team as a Strategic Business Risk Consultant.

This is a 6-month contract position that requires the successful candidate to provide business analysis expertise to support risk management initiatives, facilitating requirement gathering, stakeholder engagement, and solution implementation.

 

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Facilitate the gathering of business requirements for tactical and strategic solutions, balancing speed to market, cost, and benefit.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of end-to-end processes and design appropriate solutions.
  • Develop analysis documentation standards to define and communicate business requirements and solution design.
  • Support data analysis to determine and finalize requirements.

 

**Required Skills and Experience:**

  • Risk management experience in a trading book environment.
  • Experience working on credit risk projects as a business analyst.
  • Knowledge of key risk metrics, including PFE, EPE, and EEPE.
  • Proven experience in facilitating requirement elicitation and translation to user, functional, and non-functional requirements.
  • Good working knowledge of credit risk modeling frameworks and processes.
  • Detailed understanding of credit risk limit exposure management processes.
  • Functional and user test case preparation and execution.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Working knowledge of multi-dimensional cubes and data analysis using SQL and Python.
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence is an advantage.
